I apologize for disappearing these past 9+ months, but that's what happens when you bring a little being into this world. Now that I am getting a little more free time, maybe I can finally get back into working on this devArt account. I think for starters I will work on that list of thank yous to those who have added several of my art/photo pieces as their favorites.

Yes I have been around. I apologize for not saying much, if anything, sooner then now. It's been busy and rough and exciting and tiring since I last updated this journal.

For starters, I have moved into a new house. Hopefully this will be permanent. That's the plan anyway. We moved here in... May I believe... and we are still trying to get it into some assemblance of order that we can agree on.

In mid/late July, my name has been officially changed to the one I have gone by for over 6+ years online. Yep, we finally tied the knot. For some reason it's surreal to know that calling yourself someone's wife officially feels different then when there wasn't legal paperwork involved to make it offical. Even now I still have to stop a moment and ask myself, "Now, which last name do I sign with?" *lol*

Also, in a little over a month, there will be a new being in my life. A whole ton of emotions go through my head each and every day while the due date gets closer and closer. I am sure this is no different then other thousands/millions of women that I have grown a little tiny person in their womb, but it still astounds me how much different yet all the same we women can be when it comes to this sort of miracle.

So yeah, life has been busy for me lately and continously. If it wasn't, I'd probably be going stir crazy! *lmao* I have been striving to get myself motivated to add a lot more artwork to this gallery, but time is something I don't have abundance of recently. Hopefully spare time will come soon... somehow.

I forgot to update. Ok, maybe not forgot. It's been a bit... intense around here. I suppose that is what happens when you find out the news I did about a week and a half ago. (For those that do not know what I am talking about, send me a note and I'll update you.)

Honestly, I'd love to update my gallery as much as I started to, but life got in the way.... in more ways then one. *lol*

Just know I am still around, just busier.

I know that I had said previously that I was going to update this dA account a lot more frequently, and then I faultered on that. I apologize.

So.....!

I am going to take a few moments (for the next couple of days) and add some more -really old- artwork up into my gallery! （ﾟ∀ﾟ）

I scanned a ton of artwork from my first sketchbook that I created over 15 years ago. I have a ton more just from that book alone to still scan. the scanner is being a bit wonky, so I decided to call it a night. I will either continue with the scanning tomorrow, or take what I have already scanned, clean them up and post them up here. Unsure which I will do next.

Stay tuned I guess.

I just spent 3 1/2 hours using our scanjet instead of the flatbed that I fought with last night/this morning and most of the day. Darn hubbyman of mine and him being so sweet in letting me use this scanjet! :3

I've fixed the coloring of all of the previous art pieces (except for one because it is a bit too large to fit on my scanner right now. At least now I can continue adding new stuff to my gallery again. (^_^)

Happy hoohah day to me. After enjoying the last 364 happy un-birthdays, now I can enjoy the one that only comes once a year. ^_^

Life is good. Life is freaking busy! Someday over the rainbow I'd love to get back into my art and updating this freaking account outside of a moment or two. Ah well. At least I'm busy.
